Understanding the CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan)

Dental services under the CDCP are expected to begin in May 2024. You may register for enrollment assistance today.

​

  • The CDCP is a federal dental benefit program managed by Health Canada.
     

  • Co-payments are required based on your adjusted family net income:

    • No co-payment for incomes under $70,000.

    • 40% co-payment for incomes between $70,000–$79,999.

    • 60% co-payment for incomes between $80,000–$89,999.
       

  • You may also be responsible for any costs not covered by the CDCP.
     

  • Not all dental treatments and services are included in the plan.
     

  • Always check with your provider before treatment to understand your out-of-pocket costs or ask a representative during your consultation.
