We know how frustrating it can be to apply for a dental grant and find out that there are no participating dentists in your area. To ensure that individuals like you still have a chance to receive help, we’ve created the Special Case Program, a review-based assistance program that provides grants of up to $1,300 for urgent and essential dental care.
 

Whether you are currently in pain, struggling with an ongoing dental issue, or unable to afford the treatment you need, this program offers a way to be considered for support even without a participating dentist nearby.
 

How It Works

1. Complete the Special Case Application Form
Tell us about your dental situation, your level of urgency, and how a grant would help you. The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your needs.
 

2. Quarterly Review
Once every quarter, we review all Special Case applications and select recipients based on the urgency and impact of their situation. This ensures that limited funds are directed to those who need them most.
 

3. Use Any Licensed Dentist of Your Choice
If selected, you may choose any licensed dentist.

• If you have not yet received treatment, we will arrange to send the grant funds directly to your dentist.

• If you already received treatment due to urgent need, you can submit receipts for reimbursement up to the grant amount, provided your receipts were dated before your application.
   

4. Grant Amount
Eligible recipients may receive up to $1,300 toward their dental care.

Optional Community Contribution

To help us increase the number of individuals we can support, we invite applicants to make an optional monthly contribution to our community fund.

You may choose to contribute:

• $2 per month

• $5 per month

• $10 per month
   

Your participation is completely voluntary. Your application will be reviewed regardless of whether you contribute. The more people who join, the more people like yourself we can help over time.
 

What We Ask From You

To ensure fairness and accurate review, please provide:

• A clear explanation of your dental issue

• How long you’ve been experiencing the problem

• Why the situation is urgent or important

• Any financial or personal challenges affecting your ability to get treatment

• Whether you’ve already visited a dentist

• Receipts (if applicable) for reimbursement consideration
   

This information helps us assess each case responsibly and compassionately.
 

Eligibility Criteria

You may apply if:

• You live in an area without a participating dentist in the Dental Grants Program

• You have an urgent or significant dental need

• You are seeking treatment from a licensed dentist in the U.S. or Canada

• ou agree to provide accurate information and supporting documents (if selected)
