​Implants consist of three pieces: the implant which is screwed into the jawbone, the abutment that is placed on top of the implant, and the crown which is either screwed or cemented on the abutment.

About the Dental Grants of Canada Program

The Dental Grant Program connects you with trusted dentists and covers up to 30% of your Dental Implant cost. The exact percentage covered by the Grant depends on your treatment cost.

When you receive your billing from the dentist, the Grant will be automatically deducted from the cost so no need to wait for your Grant payment.

Grant Coverage

Need General Dentistry in addition to your Implants? If so, your Grant is eligible to cover basic dental costs as well, such as extractions and fillings. Additionally, Implant-based procedures such as Implant Fixed Dentures like 'All-on-4' and Dental Bridges are also covered.

Treatment Plan & Grant Amount

Grant amounts are based on the cost of you overall treatment plan. Remember, your treatment plan will be affected by the amount of Implants you need, the type of Implant you are receiving and other fees such as any preparatory dental work.

You can use the table below for guidance on the Grant amount you can expect to receive based on the cost of your total treatment plan. 
 

$500 - $3000 Cost: 21% Grant
$3001 - $7500 Cost: 23.5% Grant
$7501 - $15000 Cost: 25.5% Grant
$15001 - $20000 Cost: 27% Grant
$20001 - $25000 Cost: 28.5% Grant

$25001+ Cost: 30% Grant
