Review & Get Started
Why You’re Being Contacted
A patient of your clinic has applied for a Dental Grant because they need to reduce the cost of treatment in order to proceed.
The Dental Grant is a 25% one-time reduction to professional fees, provided by the dental office.
Cost is important to this patient.
Rather than referring them to a participating clinic in our network, we are contacting you first. This gives you the opportunity to match what they may find elsewhere and retain the patient.
We are simply asking you to confirm whether you are willing to provide the Dental Grant as a one-time reduction to your professional fees for this patient.
The patient’s name was included in the email you received so you can identify them in your records.
What This Means
-
This patient is ready to proceed but cannot do so at regular fees.
-
The patient is ready to proceed now if the cost is reduced.
-
Providing the reduction gives them a path to move forward with you.
-
In practical terms, this is similar to matching a competing price or making a chair-side adjustment to help a patient move forward.
-
If the cost is not adjusted, the patient may continue looking for a clinic that better fits their budget.
-
There are no added marketing, referral, or acquisition costs for this patient, and the patient is not charged any fee by our program.
How It Works
1. The Patient has Applied for a Dental Grant
The patient has applied because they need to reduce the cost of treatment in order to proceed. The Dental Grant is provided by dental offices as a voluntary, one-time reduction of their professional fees.
2. We Contact Your Clinic
In most cases, patients that apply for a Dental Grant do not have a dentist and are referred to a participating clinic. In this case, the patient has identified your office, so rather than referring them elsewhere, we are informing you first so you can decide how to proceed.
3. You Decide
You indicate whether you are willing to provide the Dental Grant for this patient.
4. If Yes
You proceed with the patient and apply the one-time 25% reduction, allowing them to move forward with treatment at your clinic. This is your opportunity to retain the patient and help them move forward with treatment they might otherwise delay.
5. If Not
If you are not able to provide the grant, the patient may expect us to refer them to a clinic that can.
How the Grant Is Applied
-
The grant is a 25% reduction to your professional fees.
-
It is applied to professional fees only, after any insurance has been deducted.
-
There are no additional fees for this patient.
-
You manage treatment, billing, and payment as you normally would.
